This page summarizes how FabWise handles privacy rights requests, customer data commitments, and compliance questions for US fabrication and manufacturing shops.
Privacy Rights
FabWise serves customers across the United States, including California. We treat the CCPA / CPRA framework as our baseline for privacy commitments. Depending on your relationship to FabWise and our customers, you may have rights to:
- Right to know — request a report of what personal information FabWise has collected about you, where it came from, what we do with it, and who we share it with.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold about you (subject to legal-retention exceptions).
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt-out of sale or sharing — FabWise does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — applicable scope is narrow for FabWise's data set.
- Right to non-discrimination — exercising any of the above does not affect your service or pricing.
How to exercise these rights: see How to request your privacy report or email privacy@fabwise.app.
Response timeline: we acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days, with a one-time 45-day extension where reasonably necessary, per CCPA timelines.
Other US State Privacy Laws
FabWise honors privacy-rights requests from residents of any US state. Where a state's law (Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, Utah UCPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Texas TDPSA, Oregon OCPA, etc.) provides specific rights, we follow the most stringent applicable standard. In practice, our CCPA-compliant process covers the common rights all of these laws share: access, deletion, correction, and opt-out of certain processing.
Customer Fit
FabWise is designed for US fabrication and manufacturing shops. Customers are responsible for deciding whether FabWise fits their own regulatory obligations and for avoiding submission of data that requires a special written agreement or regulated-data handling outside FabWise's standard terms.
Customer Contracts
Customers wishing to formalize specific data-handling commitments beyond what's in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy can request a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Email legal@fabwise.app.
Reporting a compliance concern
If you believe FabWise is processing your personal information in a way that doesn't comply with applicable law, or you have a privacy concern that hasn't been addressed through the standard rights-request channel, contact us at privacy@fabwise.app. For California residents, you also have the right to file a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency.
